Nikon Releases 24mm f1.4 and 16-35mm f4 VR! I think this is a bit better release than Canon had today, with the Rebel. Nikon brings out 2 new lenses that could really bit into the Canon camp. I’m sure that the 16-35mm f4 VR is better than the Canon offering, and 24mm f1.4 well hard to say until reviews are out for this lens. None the less though new lenses are great! Pix and specs after the jump!

New Sigma 10mm-20mm f3.5 EX DC HSM! Well PMA is here and new products are flying out! Sigma is now offering there ever so popular 10mm-20mm in now a constant f3.5 in a 10% bigger body. I think with pressure from Tokina’s 11mm-16mm f2.8, Sigma has to bring more to the plate. Come on Canon and Nikon! Press Release: March, 2009: The Sigma Corporation is pleased to announce the new SIGMA 10-20mm F3.5 EX DC HSM. This super-wide angle lens has a maximum aperture of F3.5 throughout the entire zoon range. Its wide angle of view from 102.4 degrees produces striking images with exaggerated perspective. The maximum aperture of F3.5 is ideal for indoor shooting and it enables photographers to emphasize the subject. Two ELD (Extraordinary Low Dispersion) glass elements and a SLD (Special Low Dispersion) glass element provide excellent correction of color aberration. Four aspherical lenses provide correction for distortion and allow compact and lightweight construction. The Super Multi-Layer coating reduces flare and ghosting. High image quality is assured throughout the entire zoom range. The incorporation of HSM (Hyper Sonic Motor) ensures a quiet and high-speed AF as well as full-time manual focusing capability. This lens has a minimum [...]
