Nikon D3s!!! Well Today Nikon announced the new flagship camera…D3s!!! One of the cool new features has to be the ISO performance of 102,400? This is simply amazing! I would love to see the files at this ISO. Are they even usable? How is ISO 12,800, is this usable now? Also Nikon announced a new Macro lens the 85mm f3.5. Nikon 35mm f1.8 review by Imaging Resource! Here again is a great review from Imaging Resource, this time they are reviewing Nikon’s 35mm f1.8! This is a interesting lens from Nikon for being a DX format Prime. Why they didn’t just make a FX lens still odd to me. Oh well! Enjoy the review! Click HERE to the review! Nikon D3X Test Images from Production Model! Well since its announcement on Dec 8 2008 the production model has reached store and to reviewers. Once again the good people at Imaging Resource have put test images from Nikon’s newest flagship camera…D3X! From the test samples the ISO performance of this sensor is really quite good! Can it be just as good as Canon’s 5D MKII? I’m sure there is going to be test comparisons between the 2 cameras very shortly. Its really quite interesting that how Nikon can take pretty much the same sensor as the Sony’s A900 which was so poor performance and truly make it great! Enough of the talk take a look at the test shots! Click HERE to Nikon D3X test samples!

Its official folks…Nikon D3x!!! Many knew this was coming. It was leaked out on Nov 26/08 HERE. Now Nikon has a studio camera to compete against Canon’s 1Ds MKIII and Other Medium Format digital backs(Phase one, Hasselbald, Leaf). Now for many Nikon users they have the option of a pure studio camera. High mega pixel camera with the flexibility of 35mm format. As there really is not much for sample images yet to see ISO performance. Its truly a exciting day for Nikon users!
