Seems like the New Canon 7D has been a very highly recommended camera all across the board. Engadget has taken a look at many sites and seems like there is a good consensus, the Canon 7D is a winner! Today i had a chance to play with the new Pentax K-7 pre production model. Its actually not a bad sized unit at all. The biggest thing you noticed first is how much faster the Autofocus is now. Much better than previous models. I say the Pentax K-7 could be a good camera to rivial Canon 50D or Nikon D300(a little). There has been lots of rumors lately of Canon releasing a 50D. Even thought Canon 40D is so new, maybe they are releasing a 50D just to bump the specs of the camera to compete with Nikon’s D300. So today Nikon announced D60! As the predecessor to the Nikon D40x, the Nikon D60 is much the same. It shares the same body, and many of the specs are the same. The major difference is Nikon D60 has 2 ways to fight dust. The dust reduction system previously seen on the Nikon D300 DSLR has been adopted for the D60, and Nikon has coupled this with what it is calling the “Airflow Control System”.
