Inside look of a Leica M6! Peta Pixel again has brought some more juicy picture of a Leica that has been opened up so we can see a closer look into the guts of what makes a Leica a Leica! Too bad its not a complete cut away like the lens, but this is what the Leica M6 with the outter skin removed. Source:[PetaPixel] More pictures after the jump!

Nikon Newest Kid on the Block – D7000! Well here we go folks! Here comes the flock of the newest camera gear as we get closer to Photokina! Nikon drops a new camera to replace the D90? I would think maybe the D300s with a plastic body, with it's new metering system and new 39 autofocus system. I was really never a fan of the Multi-CAM 3500 DX as it was so poor in lower light situations. I could never trust it all, it would just hunt or just never allowed me to focus on a subject! Can't wait to get my hands on one of these new D7000 and test it against it's old wiser siblings! Pix and specs after the jump! Nikon 85mm f1.4 in stores! Today at my local camera shop the new 85mm f1.4 af-s has arrived and ready for sale! I do have to say it’s one nice piece of glass. I didn’t have the opportunity to mount on a camera, but I’m sure it going to be great! Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics after the jump. A fast, high-performance mid-telephoto 85mm fixed focal length lens with a maximum aperture of f/1.4 that offers superior image quality Adoption of a maximum aperture of f/1.4 and rounded diaphragm (9 blades) enables the expression of bright and beautiful blur characteristics. The lens exhibits excellent rendering capability with shooting all distances, from close-up to infinity, making it especially suited to portrait photography. It is also an excellent choice for shooting in relatively dark situations, such as indoors or for capturing night landscapes. A new optical design that makes the most of the performance expected of the latest fast fixed focal length NIKKOR lens Nano Crystal Coat adopted to significantly reduce ghost and flare Equipped with a Silent Wave Motor (SWM) for extremely quiet autofocusing Equipped with two focus modes, M/A and M, as well as a new and improved [...]

Nikon D300s In depth review! Could the new D300s be better than older sibling D300? With the ‘s’ model in the introduction of video that first came on the D90 finds it way to the D300s. With the new features Video,Slient shutter, and 7fps (up from 6) is this going to be enough to make users switch from D300 to D300s? The Nikon D300 made quite an impact when it was first launched – enough to prompt us to conclude: ‘There’s simply no better semi-professional digital SLR on the market.’ And, in many respects, it is still the camera to beat in that class – nearly two years later and it is still able to command essentially the same price as at launch (though the strong Yen has pushed all prices up). And this success appears to have left Nikon unsure how to improve on its APS-C flagship. – Source:[DPreview] Complete review after the jump!

In depth Review of Nikon D3000! Looking for a new DSLR for going on a trip, capture the holiday season, or just started shooting? Nikon D3000 could be the answer that your looking for! The D3000 is the replacement for D40 and D60 in Nikon’s entry level line up. The great people over at Imaging Resource have put together there in depth review of the new entry level offering the camera giant. We’re sad to see the excellent Nikon D40 fade into history. Nikon has introduced what appeared to be a good quality successor when we wrote our preview. The Nikon D3000 seems to be an amalgam of most of what was great about the D40 and D60 sprinkled with most of what’s useful for consumers from the Nikon D5000 and D90.
