Here is a very good review of the Nikon’s D3x. Its long, in-depth, and value driven review. Thom Hogan having 1 x D3x that was “Defective” and replaced with another D3x. Then the Thom Hogan did a re-do of the review of the D3x. What i do enjoy about the review is the D3x worth the value? Your looking at a $3600US dollar diffence between D3 and D3x. Yes you are getting more mega pixel, but what else? The question at hand is whether the D3x is a great value, a fair value, or a poor value. There will be a small handful that may say that the D3x is a great value.
