RED Scarlet – X [Camera]
Wow I think Nov 3, 2011 will go down in history as the greatest day of Pro Cinema cameras announcements. Not only did RED released there brand new Scarlet-X, Canon released there brand new C300! I think i’m a little disappointed in the Canon release today, the camera specs were…mmm…unimpressive. Canon did release very nice looking lenses that look great with the new RED Scarlet-X. This new RED is really impressive, it comes with RED HDRx (13.5-18 stops) dynamic range, 14MP Mysterium-X sensor, and 5K shooting. Scarlet-X just coming in just under $10,000 this will be the camera to get. I can’t see many looking to purchase the Canon vs. RED.
