Red Red Red…everyone seeing Red Cameras!
Red Camera has announced there new line up for the coming up 2009 year. Its a very exciting as Red Scarlet camera was all the buzz at NAB and was due for early 2009. When Canon announced 5D MKII a rumor buzzing around was the Red’s Scarlet was put on hold. But on Nov 13/08 Red brought out there new line up! The line up has grown upto 8 cameras with a a amazing 6x17cm sensor. All Red Cameras are modular design, except for the fixed lens scarlet.
Just a shame that the Red’s Scarlet with the fixed lens is now no longer having a price. The cheapest Red camera is starting at $2500US without a lens, and to get a full frame Red camera is going to start you at $12,000US without a lens. I hope someone gets there hands on a Red to compare to Canon’s 5D MKII.
